Lord, prepare our hearts to hear your word. Thank you for those who are preaching it to your people tomorrow. May they faithfully take your word and plaster it on our hearts for our correction or encouragement. May we be built up in faith and spurred on to keep running the race with hope, and longing for your glory. Tune our ears to the gospel that we may rejoice in the righteousness of Christ and the freedom from sin that we now have in him. Give us life by your Spirit, through your word, enabling us to put on the nature of Christ day by day.
