Faithful God, we take comfort in the knowledge that you can be trusted. Though everything about us is changeable, or weakening, or unreliable, we can depend upon your unfailing character. So we tremble with humility at your holiness, we endure all things knowing your justice will triumph, we rejoice at your mercy. May we cling to your steadfast love – your covenant faithfulness, as generations before us have done, setting our hope firmly in you. Help me to tell of your faithfulness to another generation and that they may go on to do the same.
